Why did you chose Environmental Systems Lab.?

From past to the present, I have been cultured necessity of environmental management mainly from my parents who always deal within environmental field in Thailand. As compared with last decades, environmental issue in Thailand has been significantly raised up, as can be seen in results of a variety of projects. However, it still needs to get more improvement especially in terms of knowledge and technology from other developed countries which have been outstandingly succeeded. Undoubtedly, Japan is one of the most successful countries in environmental field, thus, to be able to apply knowledge and technology from Japan would definitely be a great contribution to my motherland, Thailand.
The University of Tokyo is definitely among the best academic and research institutions in the world. It is a great honor for me to be part of this great institution. I am confident that my study at the University of Tokyo will provide me with utmost valuable knowledge which will be useful in my motherland.

How about your research life ?

The department kindly provides me many facilities to encourage my study environment here such as computer, study desk, supporting funds for my research and attending academic events, and others that could not be revealed all. The lab is very systematic especially in terms of schedule arrangement, and also we have joint meeting with other labs to brainstorm in order to improve our research.
Since the lab gathers many students working on different research topic, I have a great chance to share and get comments from them in different viewpoints and aspects. Furthermore, here many students originally came from different country, so we can share our culture to our friends. Leisure from my research time, the university also provides gymnasium to play sport. In my case, I often play basketball with my lab friends in the university.

Message to the students who want to enter Esys lab

I am very pleased to welcome all of students who want to enter our lab to share our knowledge, culture and happy time together. Although, we may have to struggle with our research many times before completing it, but it is surely worthy after we can see our research contribution to others. Finally, I am looking forward to seeing all of you guys.
